Class 1 Driver – Thrapston NN14

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our clients Distribution Center based in Thrapston as a Class 1 Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work with a large scale haulage company. Call now to arrange Assessment!

Class 1 Delivery Driver

3 MONTHS CLASS 1 DRIVING EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Immediate Starts Available

PM Start Times - 15.00 onwards

On going work Friday - Tuesday

Pay Rates are as follows:

Weekdays

Afternoons (1600- 2200) - £17.25

Nights (2200 – 0600) - £18.82

Time & a Half after 45 hours

Weekends

Afternoons (1600- 2200) - £21.95

Nights (2200 – 0600) - £23.52

  • PM Starts Available.
  • Ad-hoc or 5 shifts a week – you decide.
  • Ongoing work – Assessment required.

Class 1 Delivery Driver Responsibilities

  • Store deliveries.
  • Unloading/loading - Boxes/rails.
  • Routine vehicle checks and general upkeep/cleanliness of the cab.
  • Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure before driving.

Essential Experience/ Qualities for this position

  • Great work ethic.
  • Minimum 1 year UK Class 1 driving experience.
  • Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card.
  • Comfortable with loading/unloading.
  • Be professional and presentable at all times.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
  • Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license.
  • No IN10, TT99 or DR10.

Pay: £18.82-£28.23 per hour
