HGV Class 1 Night Driver needed in Gloucester, paying £15.69ph. Ongoing fixed evenings, starting between 15:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday, Working an average of 45 hours a week. Free on-site parking. Possible temp to perm for the right candidate.

As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver, the following will be required:
  • Available Monday to Friday starting between 15:00 - 21:00.
  • Able to complete 1-15 Class 1 client drops.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries into customer’s premise.
  • Fully fit and able to move cages and move customer goods.
  • Always demonstrating good health and safety practices.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping at each delivery.
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and trailers and notify any defects.
The successful candidates must meet the following criteria and for insurance purposes:
  • Hold a full in date UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
  • Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
  • Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
  • Over the age of 21 with 1 year driving experience.
  • Be able to read delivery notes and communicate with customers on delivery.
