HGV Class 1 night driver

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 night driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Felixstowe.

IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE.....

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday OR Sunday-Thursday
• 17:00-19:00 starts
• Ongoing work
• Supermarket work
• 1 hit to east midlands area (Coventry, Milton Keynes or Lutterworth)
• Shifts lengths between 10 & 12 hours.

Salary:

• £20.00ph (Rate is Inclusive of holiday pay).

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• Hold a valid HGV 1 / Cat C+E licence.
• Driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Digital tacho card.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• Minimum 6 month driving HGV 1. (Due to insurance stipulations).
• No more than 6 minor penalty points. (Due to insurance stipulations).
• No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes. (Due to insurance stipulations).
