Job Purpose:
We're looking for a team of two HGV Driver Operatives, based out of Winscombe (North Somerset) who will share driving and operative duties and have an aptitude for outdoor work and physical activity.

Salary and Hours of Work;

• £30,865 per annum
• 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Our client is responsible for collecting recycling and waste from over 100,000 homes and commercial businesses across North Somerset, along with managing Household Waste Recycling Centres at Backwell, Portishead and Weston.
The role will be based at the Sandford / Winscombe depot to deliver the programme of work and emergency reactive call-out for the Gully Cleansing operation.

Essential

The ideal candidates will have previous experience of driving and operating similar vehicles as well as a UK driving licence for the correct class of vehicle (minimum category C) with CPC training, knowledge of Kaarbontech software or similar gully cleansing software and ability to follow health and safety procedures and safe systems of work for highway working.
