ID Recruitment are delighted to be working with an innovative and industry leading automotive business based in Billingham. Our client is a business that has gone from strength to strength and now leads the market in their field.

We are seeking experienced HGV Technicians who are looking for long term career progression and development.

Successful HGV Technicians will work in a mail dealer workshop and will have the following:

Must have completed an apprenticeship with an industry standard qualifications to either City & Guilds or NVQ level 3.

HGV 1 or 2 license preferred but not essential.

Have a professional mannerism.

To be competent in the following duties:

DVSA / Manufacturer Safety Inspections.

MOT Preparation to DVSA standards.

Ability to carryout mechanical repairs to Industry & manufacturer standard.

Ability to carryout diagnosis using manufacturer diagnostic machines.

Ability to comply with manufacturer process and procedures while carryout warranty repairs.

Ability to record performed work in writing.

Road side assistance experience.

Ability to work in a safe manner following health & safety legislation.

The company are offering a salary of £42000 - £45000 plus overtime and call out rates.
