HGV Technician / HGV Fitter
  • Up to £15-17 per hour plus £15 per day late shift allowance and overtime.
  • 40 hours per week; Week 1: 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri. Week 2: 2:00am-10:30pm Mon-Fri plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid as overtime.

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group based in the Gloucester area.

The successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £35,360 with OTE of circa £37,310 with working hours of 40 hours per week; Week 1: 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri. Week 2: 2:00am-10:30pm Mon-Fri plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid as overtime. 

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:
  • Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements of this HGV Technician vacancy:
  • Previous working experience within the role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
