OTE: £48,000pa
 
HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £42,484pa
Working Hours:
Week 1 - Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00
Week 2 - Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00 + Saturday morning 08:00-12:00 (£28.50)
Location: Wellingborough
 
Additional Benefits:
All overtime after your initial 40 hour contract
Double time on Sundays and bank holidays if worked
25 days (Rising to 30) holiday plus bank holidays

For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
