HGV1 and HGV2 Drivers Needed for General Haulage Company

Location: Harlow

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

  • HGV1 Drivers: £16.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 per hour Umbrella
  • HGV2 Drivers: £15.00 per hour PAYE or £18.00 per hour Umbrella

Our client is a reputable and growing general haulage company specializing in curtain-sided transport. Based in Harlow, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV1 and HGV2 drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various locations. Your role will include loading and unloading curtain-sided vehicles, ensuring all deliveries are made on time, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
  • Licence: Valid HGV1 or HGV2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Age: Must be over 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, reliability, and a professional attitude
