My client based in WALTHAMSTOW, is seeking HGV2 Multi Drop Drivers to join our team to dispatch of bakery goods.

Overview of role

Location:

To deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
  • To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
  • To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
  • To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
  • To comply with Company standards for customer service
  • To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
  • To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
  • To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
  • To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

  • Possess an appropriate driving license - Essential

  • Good interpersonal skills - Essential
  • Customer orientated - Essential
  • Smart appearance - Essential

Minimum 1 year HGV2 EXPERIENCE
