As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be providing essential support to students so they can succeed on their educational journey. The environment will have a nurturing and caring atmosphere, with a scattering of excitement.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing the classroom for each session with your fellow class teachers
  • Providing small-group or individual support to students as needed
  • Assisting teachers with planning and record-keeping
  • Supporting teachers in student behaviour management

The Perfect Teaching Assistant will

  • Be patient and able to build strong relationships with children
  • Possess an empathetic nature
  • Have a kind, caring and approachable towards all students
  • Have prior experience working with special needs students
  • Showcase strong behavioural management skills

Requirements

  • A current Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Availability to start work from September
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience
  • Level 3 Qualification is ideal (Level 2 also accepted)
