Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Northampton
Full Time
32.5 hours a week - 39 weeks a year (term time and training days)
Permanent Position

We are excited to be working with a lovely Northampton based primary school who are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and creative HLTA to work across their school.

The ideal applicant must have an excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills. This is a crucial role to ensure students can access learning, fulfil their potential, and take part in all aspects of school life.

In your role of HLTA you would cover whole classes, for example to release teachers for PPA time, Leadership release or ECT time across the school. All planning will be completed by the Class Teacher with resources prepared.

Your role would be class based with a need to be flexible at times to cover needs of school and staff absence.

Previous HLTA experience would be preferred but we would also like to hear from experienced teaching assistants who are looking to move to the next step of their career.

You must have a minimum of 3 months proven UK classroom based experience.
