Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you a higher-level teaching assistant looking for a new role from September 2024?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team in a primary school in Greenwich. This is a position which will start from September 2024. We require a strong and experienced higher-level teaching assistant who can work from Year 2 to Year 5. You will be covering planned absences and allow teachers time to plan and mark.

In this role, one of your main responsibilities will be to deliver the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils, school policies and strategies. No planning will be required for this role.

You will also be asked to work both independently and collaboratively with teaching staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Also, to deliver learning to individuals, small groups, and whole classes as and when required within agreed systems of supervision.

Key information:

  • Term time only, Monday - Friday
  • Temp-permanent contract
  • £110 - £125 per a day
  • Primary School in Greenwich
  • Start date: September 2024
