You're an experienced Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller or Depot Manager looking to develop a hiring team. Based at our growing Equipment Hire HQ, you'll shape the department, implement KPI's and mentor the team to be the very best they can be. BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager - Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Equipment Hire

As our Hire Desk Manager, you'll be joining a world leading construction equipment provider. We're a high energy business so to keep pace with the constantly increasing volume of customers, you'll need to be at the top of your game. You'll be responsible for running a team of experienced Hire Controllers / Customer Service Representatives, ensuring daily operations are kept running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager - Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Equipment Hire

This is your chance to make your mark as you'll:
· Create and Implement KPI's to keep everyone on track.
· Manage customer enquiries to ensure they get the best possible service.
· Coordinating equipment so that everything is in the right place at the right time.
· Up skill the team to make sure everyone is always providing outstanding customer service.

You will be involved in developing better processes to make the whole hiring experience more efficient.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Hire Desk Manager, Senior Hire Controller, Hire Manager - Construction Equipment, Plant Hire, Equipment Hire

You will have managed a Hire Desk team before from across any of the following markets:
· Plant, Tool, Powered Access, Lifting, Crane.
· Welfare, Generators, Forklifts.
· HGV, Agricultural Equipment, Attachments or Equipment Hire.

Although, you might have managed Trade Desks / Hire Desks within the Builders Merchants, Timber or Plumbing Merchants, etc.

Whatever your background you'll be able to demonstrate:
· A proven track record of team leadership.
· The ability to take ownership of projects and tasks.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Organisational Skills

Above all, you'll need to bring boundless energy, a desire to develop those around you and enjoy being in the thick of things.
