DESCRIPTION:

• Join the team as a locum Biomedical Scientist in the Cellular Pathology laboratory at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. Your role involves covering for the current post holder who is on secondment, possibly until Dec 2025.
• Shifts include a paid thirty-minute break and an unpaid one-hour lunch.
• Reporting to Team Leaders, you'll be accountable to the Cellular Pathology and Mortuary Operations Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
• Experience in cellular pathology techniques.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
• Experience with:
  • Microtomy
  • Embedding
  • Quality Control
  • Special Stains
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Diagnostic Cytology preparation
