We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our esteemed school community in Lichfield. The position is available for a January start, focusing on teaching History to both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **KS3 and KS4 History Education:** Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in History to students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love for historical inquiry and critical thinking.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the continuous improvement of the History curriculum, ensuring alignment with current historical developments and the needs of our diverse student body.
4. **Assessment and Progress Monitoring:** Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic development.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in History or a related field.
- Experience teaching History at both KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong knowledge of historical principles and current developments in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.
