• Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 (In line with your current pay scale)

Secondary History Teacher - Canterbury

Academics are currently working on behalf of an outstanding school in Canterbury who are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of History.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching History to secondary school students
• Planning and delivering engaging and dynamic lessons
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Setting challenging and achievable targets for students
• Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the school's curriculum is implemented effectively
• Participating in extra-curricular activities such as clubs and events

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching History to UK secondary school students
• A deep understanding of the UK curriculum
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A commitment to providing a high standard of education for all students
