History Teacher
History teacher - Bolton - September start
Prospero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Bolton who are seeking a History Teacher to work in their humanities department from September on an ongoing basis covering a long term sickness, but, it is likely to continue throughout the upcoming academic year. The role will be full time teaching history to various classes across key stage 3 & 4.
The department is an established team who are very welcoming and are very supportive and approachable. .
There is a large on site car park available for staff and there are excellent public transport links close by.

Position: History teacher
Start date: September 2024
End date: July 2025
Minimum rate of pay: GBP153
Hours: 8:15 am-4:00 pm (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Teacher of History (hold QTS)
Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
Teacher of History at key stage 3 & 4
Hold a valid & recognised teaching qualification
You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis , the role is open to ECT's and more experienced teachers.
You will be required to commit to the role in it's entirety.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS HISTORY POSITION
hold Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list. DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide a minimum of two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year ( essential, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training in the last 3 years ( essential, however, training can be provided)
