Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Multiple Vacancies in Havering

Empowering Learning is currently recruiting dedicated HLTAs for multiple positions across Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' education and development. The vacancies are available for an immediate start, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Role Overview:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will support teachers and assist students in various capacities, helping to enhance the learning environment in schools. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons, provide targeted support to individual students and small groups, and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide targeted intervention and support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Lead small group activities and help manage classroom behaviour.
  • Contribute to planning and preparing learning resources.
  • Assist with assessing and monitoring student progress.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student success.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or relevant experience in an educational setting.
  • Passion for supporting students' learning and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
