Blackpool SEMH School looking for a HLTA to start ASAP

1 year contract with the view of temporary to permanent

Are you a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Look no further! Tradewind are working with an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) School in the vibrant community of Blackpool who are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team as soon as possible.

As an HLTA the SEMH school, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support and guidance to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a 1-2-1 basis. Your focus will be on planning and delivering interventions on a 1-2-1 basis with a nurturing positive relationship, fostering a supportive learning environment, and promoting academic and personal growth in each student.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
  • Adaptability and resilience in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusively, diversity, and equality in education.
