Randstad Education is looking for HLTAs to work day-to-day and long-term supply needed to cover a variety of schools based in BB3 area which specialises in working children between ages 2-11. The pupils need emotional support and reassurance from time to time and require encouragement to follow a positive behaviour plan set in place by the teacher and staff. The post involves covering classes when the teacher has PPA time or is unavailable.

Requirements of the job:

  1. You should ideally hold a relevant HLTA qualification.
  2. An Enhanced Child DBS (we can also help with the process if you don't already have one)
  3. Experience working with children or young adults with special learning or emotional needs.
  4. Patience to handle possible challenging behaviour.
