Live In Housekeeper

Salary: £23795.00 pa

Location: Burgh Island

Want to work at one of the most magnificent hotels in Devon.

This hotel is an iconic landmark and retreat, positioned on a wildly beautiful and secluded tidal Burgh island. This sea hotel was once described as a shining white ocean liner surrounded by golden beaches and silver seas.

We are ’m currently looking for housekeepers to live on the island. Who will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire property, including guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas.

Working hours will be 40 hours per week working 5 days a week 8-hour shifts. shift patterns could be.

7am-3pm

9am-5pm

Or the split shift

9am-3pm/ 7pm-9pm as they offer turndown service.

Job duties include:

  • Cleaning public areas and/or a set number of guest rooms each day to laid out high hygiene standards
  • Working closely with reception to ensure the correct provision of guest amenities in each bedroom prior to the guests’ arrival
  • Carry out deep cleaning duties in the hotel and other staff housing facilities as required
  • Carrying out guest requests such as extra beds, pillows, bathroom supplies
  • Liaising with reception and maintenance to ensure any repairs are reported and fixed as soon as possible
  • Carry out turndown service as required
  • Ensuring rooms are maintained to the required standards of cleanliness and repair
  • Shared Accommodation Available
