Are you available for temporary employment for approximately 3 months? Do you have customer service/ administration experience within a housing environment? If so, our client is seeking a Housing Administrator to join their team based in Somerset.

You will provide customer service and administrative support for a team of case managers who are providing support and housing management services across the area.

Some responsibilities could include:

  • Provide support for meetings and panels
  • Monitor rent accounts to ensure payments are made
  • Engage with tenants whose accounts are in arrears
  • Arrange direct debit payments as well as other forms of payment
  • Carry out visual inspections of properties/garages and report any issues

Experience:

  • Experience of working in operational services and delivering customer-led services to multi-channel customers
  • Sound understanding of the office environment in order to provide effective administrative support
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of IT systems / finance systems such as spreadsheets, word processing and databases.
  • Sound customer / client relation skills are required combined with an understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines, prioritising own workload and the ability to work flexibly and effectively
