HOUSING DISREPAIR SOLICITOR Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £41,000 depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package Role Overview A leading law firm, recognised for its expertise in social housing and regeneration, is seeking a talented and ambitious Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor with experience or a strong interest in housing law, to work alongside a respected team, providing specialist legal advice. Candidate Profile/Experience Needed The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in disrepair or housing condition claims, with a good understanding of property and social housing law.
Proven experience representing clients in litigation and housing-related claims, including advocacy in County Court.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and provide clear, solution-focused legal advice.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients.
Experience advising landlords on housing management matters, such as ASB and breach of tenancy injunctions.
A proactive and independent approach to managing a caseload, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior staff.
