We are seeking a Housing Management Assistant to join a Local Authority in Southampton. This role involves providing administrative support in housing procedures and updating the Housing data platform.

THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Assistant, you will support tenancy and estate management services, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate data on the Council’s housing management system
• Process tenancy records using File Director for scanning and storage
• Handle phone enquiries and provide initial support to residents
• Assist customers with Homebid applications and bidding processes
• Book sign-ups and assist in tenancy paperwork preparation
• Support mutual exchanges, including processing and sign-ups
• Prepare case files for ASB cases and provide basic advice to residents

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar housing-related role and be confident in administrative and data entry tasks.

• Experience with tenancy and estate management administration
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
• Ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
• Knowledge of housing management systems and procedures
• Experience liaising with internal teams and external agencies

THE CONTRACT

• 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 3 Month Contract
• £17.19 per hour LTD company rate / £14.65 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
