Housing Management Assistant Southampton Supported Housing 3 Month Contract 37 Hours £17.19 LTD / £14.65 PAYE (inc hol) We are seeking a Housing Management Assistant to join a Local Authority in Southampton. This role involves providing administrative support in housing procedures and updating the Housing data platform.
THE ROLE As a Housing Management Assistant, you will support tenancy and estate management services, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate data on the Council’s housing management system
Process tenancy records using File Director for scanning and storage
Handle phone enquiries and provide initial support to residents
Assist customers with Homebid applications and bidding processes
Book sign-ups and assist in tenancy paperwork preparation
Support mutual exchanges, including processing and sign-ups
Prepare case files for ASB cases and provide basic advice to residents
THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar housing-related role and be confident in administrative and data entry tasks.
Experience with tenancy and estate management administration
Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
Ability to handle customer enquiries professionally
Knowledge of housing management systems and procedures
Experience liaising with internal teams and external agencies
THE CONTRACT
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
3 Month Contract
£17.19 per hour LTD company rate / £14.65 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
