Description

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and manage any necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Develop strong relationships with tenants, providing support and addressing any concerns or complaints.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to provide additional support services for tenants.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant housing legislation and sector best practice.
  • Prepare reports on property condition, tenant satisfaction and other key performance indicators.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of housing strategy.
  • Represent the organisation at networking events and forums within the housing sector.

Profile

A successful Housing Officer should have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services to tenants.
