Housing Officer/ Housing Advisor Vacancy waiting to be filled

Venn Group would like to introduce the following position of Housing Officer’ for a Housing Association in Merseyside

Position:         Housing Officer / Housing Advisor

Location:        Merseyside

Salary:            Negotiable dependant on experience

Length:           4 months

Hours:             37 hours p/week

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Providing a relationship service to all customers within their designated geographical area across all tenures, working in partnership with complex queries and case workers to bring the best resolution for the customer
  • Determining where interventions are required to enable the customer to sustain their tenancy, referring the customer to the appropriate team or 3rd party and maintaining oversight
  • Leading the tenancy sign up process, ensuring customers are on boarded in a way that enables them for success and able to sustain their tenancy
  • Ensuring that the customer is aware of the requirements of their Tenancy (e.g. paying rent, keeping shared spaces safe), supporting them to maintain compliance

To be considered for this role you will need to have worked in a similar role and be available to start at short notice, drive and have an enhanced DBS.
