Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We are seeking a dynamic Housing Project Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in implementing our Housing Strategy. This role involves supporting area-based project teams with expert knowledge and guidance about the housing sector and worker accommodation. You will be at the forefront of navigating the complexities of housing supply, demand, and operational planning to support effective accommodation solutions for workers, contributing to our legacy housing commitments.

- Strategic Support: Assist project teams in developing and implementing housing and accommodation strategies that align with our broader organisational goals and local needs.

- Market Analysis: Conduct analysis of local housing markets, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities related to worker accommodation and permanent housing solutions.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between SSEN Transmission, our supply chain, local communities, government bodies, housing developers, and other key stakeholders to foster partnerships and collaborative opportunities.

- Site Identification and Assessment: Collaborate with project teams, principal contractors, and local authorities to identify suitable sites and opportunities for temporary accommodation and permanent solutions, assessing feasibility, challenges, and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations that articulate findings, recommendations, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Relevant Experience: In implementing complex housing and/or worker accommodation solutions, ideally within the housing sector, urban planning, real estate development, or a related field.

- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and preferably experience using GIS tools for site selection and planning.

- Project Management Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to operate both independently and as part of a team.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and persuasive reports and presentations.

- Autonomy: Ability to take initiative and utilise internal and external stakeholder networks to create solutions and overcome barriers to strategy deployment.
