Housing Support Coordinator

Northeast, Durham

Our team at Sellick Partnership are actively seeking a Housing Support Coordinator for a social housing provider based within the Northeast, Durham region. This position will be on a full time, interim for the right candidate who can provide support and be responsive to promote independence amongst clients.

Housing Support Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • manage risk and safeguarding for all residents
  • responsible for managing building compliance and health & safety of the scheme
  • assist individuals to maximise their income and apply for relevant welfare benefits and grants
  • work with individuals to create person centred support plans and hold weekly keywork sessions to achieve their goals identified

Ideal Housing Support Coordinator Experience:

  • experience of supporting vulnerable client groups, along with a good understanding of adult and child safeguarding
  • role involves lone working at times, so you'll be able to thrive in your own environment, as well as part of a team
  • support customers in a flexible and person-centred way, so you must have emotional resilience and the ability to deal constructively with challenging behaviour
