Location: Various social housing settings in Leicester.

Contract Type: Full-time, temporary / agency.

Salary: £12.82 per hour.

This role is working for Hays on a temporary basis as either Bank Staff or in Long Term Placements with our established clients across Leicester. Ideal for those looking for flexibility around their current schedule or an additional form of income. With the expectation that you are able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, you will be able to select the days you are available and your preferred shift patterns.

Your new role
As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide housing-related support to vulnerable adults and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your role will involve assisting service users with independent living, improving their skills, resilience, and pathways to independence. You will have your own caseload of customers with complex needs such as homelessness, substance misuse, a history of offending etc and managing their support plans with them to promote and sustain tenancies. You will be signposting them to relevant services and agencies and supporting them on their journey to independent living.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 6 months relevant experience in the UK: Experience working in housing support or related fields such as social care.
• UK Driving Licence: As this is a Floating Support Role, you must have a full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility: Able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week, whether days or nights.
