ROLE: HR Administrator

LOCATION: Leeds Office based 4 days per week + 1 day in Wakefield Office

SALARY: £25,000 pa

  • The role is available immediately.
  • 37.5 hours per week, full time office based.
  • Must have a valid driving licence and access to their own car as will be expected to work from Wakefield at least 1 day per week.
  • Must have at least 2 years HR admin experience.
  • Starting salary of £25K

Purpose of the role/key responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with, managers and employees to understand business needs and objectives, develop strategies and implement solutions to address needs.
  • Talent acquisition - work with line managers to attract, select, recruit and onboard the right candidates through a seamless process
  • Deliver continuous support by leveraging HR programmes, policies, processes and systems
  • Provide support and advice on employee matters that arise.
  • Monitor and interpret trends and metrics around absence management.
  • Deliver seamless support by leveraging HR programmes, policies, processes and systems.

Experience and skill set required for the role:

  • Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent
  • Generalist experience and working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Able to build effective relationships
  • Good Microsoft Office, Excel and other software skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
