Looking for an HR Advisor role that will allow you to go beyond day-to-day ER and supporting managers to give you the opportunity to support projects and work on your own development areas? We’re working with a Head of HR that is looking for an operationally savvy HR Advisor with an appetite to strengthen their skills across the generalist remit and support key projects as the HR function, and business, go on a futureproofing journey.

Reporting to the Head of HR and working as part of a small team, you will support the operational and technical teams by delivering a comprehensive HR service. Having worked in an advisory role before, you’ll take the ER challenges in your stride (although you shouldn’t expect there to be much volume anyway) and enjoy coaching and supporting managers. You’ll also play a key role on site in regards to recruitment and onboarding, performance and appraisals, and training.


You’ll support the Head of HR and wider team on key HR projects – the current pipeline of projects will see you supporting the new EDI strategy, heading up employee engagement initiatives, getting involved in a major system overhaul and revamping policies and handbook. You can also expect to play a key role in future change projects as the business looks to continue evolving.


You can expect to be supported by the Head of HR in bridging any professional gaps you have or any development or interest areas you would like to focus on.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for well-rounded HR Advisors comfortable with managing the variety and day to day challenges that working in a smaller business brings BUT critically with an appetite and desire to play a key role in project delivery. Some prior experience in supporting projects, whatever size, would be helpful, as would any demonstrable experience in the upcoming key project areas.


This role is 3 days on site in Coventry with flexibility.
