If you have been working as an HR Advisor for a couple of years and need a more challenging role with plenty of exciting HR projects to get your teeth into, then this could be exactly what you have been looking for. This successful business has more than doubled in size recently with new offices opening across Europe. As a result of this growth, they have a newly created permanent role for an HR Advisor to be based in London and you would be joining a small and friendly HR team.

This is certainly one of the most interesting and exciting clients I have the pleasure of working with. Everyone in the team shares a passion for providing a first-class HR service and when I asked them to describe their culture they said:

"Jo - we are a fully inclusive team who all support one another. The People & Culture Director is engaging and motivational as well as an inspirational leader who is respected throughout the business and the London HR network."

You can tell from the way they talk that that they all get along well and love being part of a small HR team. I asked one of the team to tell me what they enjoy most about working there and they said:

"I previously worked for a large and highly matrixed business and became frustrated at how narrow my role was, but I have learnt more in 6 months here than I did in 3 years at my last employer".

Their offices are based close to Cannon Street and London Bridge (and they offer flexible hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office, 2 days at home). They are looking for someone who is passionate about adding value and would like to be part of a small, fun team. This role would suit a career-minded HR professional who is looking to develop their career with the support of a great team.

They are looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience working as an HR Officer/HR Advisor.
  • Employee Relations experience (including disciplinaries, grievance, performance and absence management).
  • CIPD qualified or part qualified.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the business and achieve credibility.
  • Flexible team player who can get hands dirty and also be involved in thinking strategically and seeing bigger picture.
  • Ability to use initiative and provide pro-active and pragmatic solutions to issues
