Role: HR Advisor
Salary: Up to c£35,000 DOE
Location: Solihull, full time in the office
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 9-5 Mon-Fri
We are supporting a successful, values led service-based business, to recruit an HR Advisor to their close-knit HR function. This HR Advisor role has full ownership for all day-to-day HR Generalist issues, a key role to the management community within the business in offering support on Employee Relations issues and all other areas of the employee lifecycle. Based in an Head Office environment, you will enjoy working at the heart of the business where it is easy to build long-term relationships and the HR team collaborate with a real 'team’ ethos. Alongside 'business as usual’ HR Advisory duties, you will also be given the opportunity to work closely on key HR projects to add to your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively drive positive employee engagement to include effective to support to management on positive employee relations management
- Take ownership of disciplinary and grievance processes where necessary
- Promote the company culture and core values
- Support recruitment and training coordination and apprenticeships
- Assist in the delivery of key projects
- Support the successful delivery of all HR processes, policies and systems
- Provide advice to managers on all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, absence,
Skills and experience required:
- Proven work history working as a HR Advisor or HR Assistant with ER casework is essential
- CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification
- High levels of competency and understanding of employment law essential
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to assess business risk
- Proactive and can-do approach, with the ability to manage a busy generalist role and assist other team members where necessary
