About the Job

As an HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the HR function and the business. Your responsibilities will include providing expert guidance on employment law, managing employee relations, supporting recruitment processes, implementing policies, and assisting the Head of People with various HR projects and metrics.

Duties will include:

  • Advising on discipline, grievance, sickness absence, and performance management.
  • Supporting line managers with recruitment and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Driving a high-performance culture where talent is recognised and nurtured.
  • Managing payroll, including processing salaries and deductions.
  • Updating HR policies to align with current legislation.
  • Overseeing the new starter process from offer to onboarding and induction.
  • Reporting and analysing weekly and monthly HR KPIs, including absence and turnover.

About the Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in recruitment and selection. You should have strong organisational and administrative skills, experience across the employee lifecycle, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a high level of confidentiality are essential. Ideally you will also have familiarity with processing payroll.
