Position: HR Advisor
Location: Fife (Hybrid working available post-induction)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Until March 2025
Travel: Occasional travel within Fife required
Hourly Pay from £16.61
About the Role:
ASA Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking experienced and dedicated HR Advisors. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience managing diverse and complex caseloads, preferably within the public sector and unionised environments. This role requires strong case management skills and the ability to navigate intricate HR issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
· Case Management: Manage a large and varied caseload, ensuring consistency and appropriate application of agreed policies and procedures.
· Professional Advice: Provide expert advice to managers on absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters.
· Change Management: Lead or assist in managing change projects within the organisation.
· Training and Briefings: Deliver training sessions and briefings to staff.
· HR Duty Adviser: Participate in the HR Duty Adviser role on a rostered basis.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Education: Educated to Degree level or equivalent (SCQF level 9) in a related field.
· CIPD Membership: Ideally, you hold CIPD Associate membership (CIPD level 5), or for the higher-level post you will hold Chartered Membership.
· Experience: Practical experience of dealing with a range of HR issues, particularly case management or policy development.
· Team Player: Strong team player who can collaborate effectively.
· Communication Skills: Able to communicate clearly and influence others.
· HR Systems: Proficient in using HR systems.
Preferred Experience:
· Experience within the public sector.
· Experience working in a unionised environment.
