Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor for our client a local government organisation based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will be working across shared services to deliver a professional and consistent employee relations service which enables customers to manage their people resources effectively.

This is a 3 month starting contract with the possibility to extend. Hybrid working available.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Proactively manage and deliver employee relations casework.
  • Provide professional advice on all aspects of employee relations including absence management, grievance, disciplinary and performance management, escalating casework where appropriate.
  • Work closely with other HR colleagues and across services to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Trade Unions to resolve individual cases and effective consultation on people related solutions.
  • Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.
  • Coach, train and develop managers in good practice employee relations knowledge & skills.

Personal Requirements:

  • Must have HR experience, preferably working on employee relation cases.
  • Part qualified CIPD.

Working Hours: 09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: £23.50 p/h
