HR Advisor

Ripley, Derbyshire (On-site)

Permanent, Full-Time

£30,000-£35,000 (DOE)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning manufacturer who are an industry leader within their field. They have a nationwide customer base and looking to consistently grow as a business.

As the HR Advisor, you will support both Managers and Employees across a range of HR activities to include compliance, employee relations and change management.

They offer a range of benefits on top of salary including local community initiatives. You may be required to attend some ER Meetings outside your standard hours.

Description of the role:

  • Providing advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Managing employee relation cases.
  • Supporting the recruitment process with job adverts, interviewing and on-boarding.
  • Collaborating with Hiring Managers on job descriptions.
  • Providing advice on pay, benefits and employee assistance programmes.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures.
  • Advising Managers on probation reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

About you:

  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards.
  • Knowledge of practical HR principles and employment legislation.
  • Strong relationship building skills, being able to communicate on a range of levels.
  • Manufacturing industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Employee relations experience with evidence of dealing with complex issues.
