Overview of the HR Advisor:

As the HR Advisor, you won’t just be supporting the Head of HR and the wider business, you’ll be the driving force behind the people strategy! You’ll have the chance to touch every part of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to engagement, and from performance management to employee experience. This is your chance to shine and make a real impact, leading the way in DE&I and wellbeing strategies. Your Mission:

  • Be the Go-To HR Expert: Partner with The Head of HR and wider to handle all HR queries swiftly and effectively.
  • Own the Employee Lifecycle: Take charge of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and everything in between. Make sure every step is smooth, efficient, and engaging.
  • Promote the Brand: Collaborate with line managers and agencies to showcase the company culture, making them the employer of choice.
  • Champion Employee Relations: Guide and coach managers, handle sensitive issues with care, and maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
  • Drive Performance and Development: Lead learning and development activities, from promoting the E-learning system to delivering impactful management workshops.
  • Innovate HR Practices: Stay ahead of the curve with employment law, refine the company policies, and always looking for ways to improve.
  • Boost Wellbeing and Engagement: Design and implement creative wellbeing programs and engagement activities that keep our team motivated and fulfilled.
  • Lead DE&I Initiatives: Be the champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, driving initiatives that make a difference and inspire change.
  • Communicate with Impact: Work closely with marketing to ensure our internal communications are engaging, informative, and aligned with the company values.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A solid foundation in HR with a track record of success in either an HR Advisor or Generalist role.
  • CIPD part qualified/qualified or holding an HR degree is a plus!
  • A deep understanding of UK employment law and best practices.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—you know how to build relationships and influence others.
  • Tech-savvy skills, including experience with HR systems like HiBob, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in L&D, with the confidence to deliver training and engage teams.
  • Passion for DE&I, ready to lead and inspire.
  • A positive attitude, a sense of humour, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy.
