Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join our Sheffield office. In this role, you will be a key player in driving HR initiatives and supporting our employees. You will work closely with the HR team, business managers and staff across various departments and regions, providing expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support and advice to managers and employees on issues such as employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Assist the HRBP in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Lead HR data reporting, being the go-to person in the team to support regular and ad hoc data reporting
  • Manage and develop (in conjunction with the wider team) HR system tools to support not only HR processes but manager and employee self-service
  • Lead on right to work compliance and applications for visa’s.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, payroll processing, and HR systems.
  • Support the HRBP and Global Head of HR with wider projects and reports for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, providing updates and supporting with training as necessary.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor supporting a generalist workload. Experience in dealing with HR practices outside of the UK would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills in particular excel
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
