A prestigious international law firm seeks an HR Advisor on a 6-month fixed term basis to join the wider HR Team to deliver effective HR operational support.

  • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
  • Salary to £50,000
  • Highly autonomous role

HR Advisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify people issues and provide day to day support, advice and professional expertise, escalating more complex matters to Senior HR Advisors/HR Business Partners
  • Use key management information/metric and knowledge of the business to focus solutions effectively
  • Equip and coach managers in the skills and knowledge to effectively manage people issues
  • Provide support to HR Business Partners/Senior HR Advisors on people matters across the employee lifecycle
  • Support the Senior HR Advisors/HR Business Partners with various investigations, including disciplinary, grievance and capability matters
  • Notify our Payroll HR Systems & Ops team promptly of any employee changes within the employee life cycle
  • Assist HR Business Partners with the annual salary and bonus review process
  • Assist with the recruitment processes, where necessary in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team

HR Advisor Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous generalist HR experience, ideally within a law firm
  • A sound understanding of employment legislation and a desire to keep up to date with upcoming changes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively influence
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • A focus on delivering a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential
