My client is a well respected academy, looking to recruit an HR Advisor on a long term contract basis.
Working with the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality HR service to the school. You’ll offer the Head and other staff advice on a broad range of day to day HR matters, in conjunction with due process and school policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional HR guidance on employee relations, absence management, performance, and disciplinary matters
Support recruitment processes including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
Advise on HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with school guidelines
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems in line with GDPR
Assist with workforce planning and staff development initiatives
Support in the development of a positive staff culture and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
CIPD qualified (Level 5 or working towards)
Proven HR experience, gained from an education or a similar public sector environment
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Given the need, applications are sought from candidate who are immediately available or with short notice periods. The role is largely based on site, with a negotiated number of working weeks within the school holidays.
