Are you an experienced HR professional? Do you have strong organisational skills?

We are working closely with an ambitious small business in their search for a brand new hire.

This role is based in Shepton Mallet / Wells area.

This role may suit someone who has a background in HR administration or someone at a more senior level who would like to take on a role with less responsibility.

DAY TO DAY:

Assisting with recruitment, placing adverts, screening candidates, setting up interviews, sending out letters / contracts

Being actively involved in the on-boarding process of new employees, including all references, checks, administration duties on the CRM

Recording all HR activity to include

Ensuring all employees have the correct pay and benefits according to their contract and terms of business

Taking on research projects such as comparisons of benefits, presenting findings when required

Ensuring company policies are adhered to and that all employees are aware of the employee handbook and policies within it

Updating the employee handbook when required

Researching relevant training courses and booking employees on where needed

Providing basic guidance on employment policies to heads of departments and senior decision makers

A background in HR - ideally at admin, adviser or officer level
