Our client is an international Consulting firm, working alongside major client globally to deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They are looking for a HR Assistant to join their team in north Leeds. The role will sit within the wider Human Resources function and involve providing general HR administration duties such as inbox management, onboarding and offboarding, benefit administration, managing and updating HR records, and supporting on various internal projects.

We are looking for driven individuals who are passionate about developing their HR career, ideally you will have some HR experience or be a strong administrator with good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The team are dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative; we are seeking a team-player and a keen learner.

Duties and Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:

  • Managing a busy general HR inbox and responding to stakeholder queries
  • Managing the full onboarding process for new starters within deadlines, ensuring right to work documentation is accurate, issuing offers via DocuSign, and undertaking all onboarding activities efficiently.
  • Ownership of the offboarding process for all leavers.
  • Inputting HR data onto systems and updating HR records
  • Business-wide stakeholder liaison, at all levels from entry to Director.
  • Working alongside payroll and meeting deadlines.
  • Creating and manipulating HR reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Producing written communications for the HR team.
  • Managing all changes to terms and conditions of employment.

Experience and Skill Requirements for the role:

  • Previous HR experience is preferred, however we are also open to strong Administrators and those with a passion for developing a HR career.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Any use of VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptable in your approach, able to multi-task and prioritise effectively.
  • Able to manage a varied and high volume workload within strict deadlines.
  • An enthusiastic team player who actively contributes to a collaborative team.
