Our client is looking for an experienced and resilient HR professional who is CIPD qualified on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidates will be well-versed with HR policies, procedures and processes as well as employee relations.

Rate - dependant on experience
Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Hybrid working available - 2 to 3 days in the office

HR Business Partner
Job Description
  • Be the principal point of contact for all strategic HR matters (circa 250 employees)
  • Work in collaboration with the rest of the HR team to ensure a joined-up people and development approach underpinned by the company wide people agenda. 
  • Provide leadership and support to aid HR colleagues with their personal and professional development, ensure they are involved in operational and project work as appropriate.
  • Support, develop and empower managers to lead on all people issues within their teams
  • Support and guide the HR Advisor on transactional activities such as call out, pay and benefits queries, absence management, disciplinary and grievance and performance management
  • Establish and lead where relevant on HR projects
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the people strategy in collaboration with the Head of HR and HR Director
  • Support the line managers with CAP reviews, benefit and role bench marking where necessary and ensure a joined-up approach across the business.
  • Support line managers to successfully complete performance management processes and create development plans for their teams. Ensuring robust succession and resource planning is in place for maintenance which feed into the strategic business plans
  • Work with the HR team on the talent agenda including developing interventions and creating opportunities

HR Business Partner
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • CIPD Graduate Diploma or above in HR practice
  • Strong experience working as a HR Business Partner, or at a similar level
  • HR policy, procedure and process writing skills
  • Experienced in Employee relations best practice
  • Resilient individual with good communication skills
