Your role is integral in underpinning the execution of our purpose "To Protect People Properly". You will be instrumental in driving our recruitment, retention, engagement, wellbeing, diversity, and company culture programmes, in collaboration with our leaders and team members.

As our HR Business Partner you will:
  • Be a pillar of our company culture, embodying our ethos both internally and externally.
  • Develop robust relationships with all stakeholders, winning trust and respect by maintaining a strong presence in the office to enhance credibility and influence.
  • Provide insightful coaching and support to our leaders, ensuring smooth execution of the people agenda.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, recognising talent, and addressing underperformance effectively.
  • Champion our employer brand, crafting compelling content for our internal and external communication channels, and social media platforms.
  • Proactively monitor staff turnover, conducting comprehensive exit interviews to gain insights into attrition rates and improve retention.
  • Navigate the recruitment and selection process, supporting leaders in optimising their team resources while promoting inclusivity, from advertising to onboarding.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Relevant qualifications ideally CIPD Level 5 or higher with a focus on Business Management or HRM.
  • Proven experience as a generalist HR Business Partner or HR Adviser, preferably in a medium-sized organisation.
  • Strong proficiency in UK employment law and excellent knowledge of HR best practices and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels and deliver impactful storytelling.
  • Analytical prowess, with attention to detail and experience producing quality management information with trend analysis.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to operate in a high-pressure environment, balancing BAU & project work.
