A large, well-established, multinational organisation with interests spanning multiple industries is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support both operational and strategic people initiatives across its UK headquarters and regional sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a complex, people-centric business and make a real impact through hands-on HR partnering, driving change, supporting leadership teams, and embedding best practices in employee relations and organisational development.

Key responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on a range of complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance, and organisational change.
  • Lead and coordinate restructuring and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and internal frameworks.
  • Provide expert guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and capability cases, often acting as a key support during formal hearings.
  • Prepare and manage responses to employment tribunal cases, liaising with legal teams and ACAS where necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with management to implement wellbeing and engagement initiatives, while also developing tailored interventions for specific teams.
  • Take ownership of evolving HR policy, guidance, and best practice - ensuring the business is future-ready and people-first.

What you'll need:
  • Strong experience advising on a broad range of HR and employee relations issues in a large, multi-site or complex organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law with the ability to manage risk effectively and make balanced decisions.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting performance improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable working at pace and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strategic mindset with pragmatic execution—able to see the big picture while handling day-to-day HR issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general HR systems.

If you're looking to bring your HR expertise to a large, mission-led organisation where your ideas and influence will truly shape outcomes, this role could be for you.
