We are working with an award-winning, national business compliance company that offers HR and Employment Law advice to small businesses across the UK.

About the job:

In this role you will be creating commercially focussed Employment Law and HR content for a variety of purposes, predominantly for a sales audience but also for subscription employment law websites, client newsletters and external PR content. You will be identifying themes and trends of HR challenges to input into this, and ensuring that client focussed consultancy documentation reflects the HR challenges that employers in varying sectors face. You will be assisting the Associate Director of HR Content in ensuring that engaging content showing new legal developments and the full range of the services the business provides with a view to attracting new clients.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analysing HR themes and trends and new employment laws to create a variety of new sales assets for the sales teams to use
  • Maintaining and continually developing content on HR subscription websites by providing written technical and practical guidance on employment law matters
  • Ensuring that template contracts and handbooks etc. are kept up to date
  • Creating and delivering training sessions where required
  • Creating bespoke employment law presentations for sales and existing client purposes
  • Summarising briefings on topical employment law issues as they develop
  • Researching areas of employment law issues as they develop and providing updates for an advisory and sales audience
  • Ensuring internal tools created for use by advisory departments are continually enhanced
  • Writing articles and various types of content for employment law websites
  • Providing quick comment for external publications on employment matters and case law
  • Updating marketing team members with news stories, any changes in the law and supplying content
  • Responding any employment law queries from all areas of the business via email and phone
  • Creating HR policies for clients and use on websites
  • Keeping Employment Law knowledge up to date
  • Attending meetings
  • Undertaking any tasks delegated by the HR Director

You

  • In depth knowledge of Employment Law and HR
  • Experience analysing legislation and interpreting it in the context of UK Employment Law
  • Excellent written skills
  • Communication skills
  • Eye for detail
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to convey legal information in a creative and understandable manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Monday - Friday, 9-5 with half an hour for lunch
