HR Coordinator

Job Title: HR Coordinator

Location: St Katherine Docks - Hybrid

Salary: £30 - 35k

Our client, a successful Shipping organisation based near St Katherine Docks is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Coordinator to join their dynamic HR team. As HR Coordinator you will provide valuable support to the HR Business Partners in various HR functions, including recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, learning and development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment, including liaising with agencies or other candidate sources, conducting interviews, and providing feedback
  • Coordinate and organise HR activities such as meetings, training sessions, and ad hoc events
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees in collaboration with the HR Business Partner
  • Provide support in employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and attendance management
  • Create and issue HR-related letters and documents such as contracts, promotion letters, and performance improvement plans
  • Support the probationary process and cases related to maternity, paternity, and flexible working requests
  • Assist with training implementation, performance review cycles, and people initiatives
  • Maintain HR systems, update third-party systems, and contribute to employee secondments and the Company's Graduate Scheme
  • Respond to general HR inquiries through verbal and written communication

  • Previous experience working within an HR Department, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally experience supporting with recruitment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Approachable, adaptable, and resilient
  • "Can do" attitude with a positive outlook
  • Proactive, accountable, and reliable
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
