Team/Role Overview

The HR eLearning Instructional Designer role is part of a Global team situated under Learning and Culture in the HR organisation. The role supports the eLearning development of Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) training materials provided by subject matter experts throughout the globe. The newly formed team utilize instructional design principles and expertise to deliver an engaging and compelling eLearning experience. The team collaborates with subject matter experts when course materials are submitted, providing credible challenge where necessary in order to deliver the best learning experience.

What you'll do
  • Develop eLearning training courses using a variety of learning methodologies; integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of an interactive and effective learning experience.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and ICRM stakeholders situated around the globe.
  • Credible challenge redundant training content where appropriate, leveraging instructional design theory and business knowledge.
  • Maintaining project statuses and updates via SharePoint.
  • Test eLearning courses for functionality and alignment to standards.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we'll need from you
  • Previous creative design or eLearning development experience (relevant applications - Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, dominKnow etc.)
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization and throughout the globe.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
