Job Summary

The HR Executive at London Security Services (LSS) is a standalone role, responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, from recruitment to compliance, employee relations, and performance management. This position requires a hands-on HR professional who can work independently while ensuring HR strategies align with the company’s business goals. The HR Executive will act as the main HR contact, providing support to both employees and management.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Policy Implementation

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with LSS’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all HR policies comply with UK employment laws, industry regulations, and LSS standards.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks and HR procedures in line with best practices.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, addressing grievances, concerns, and conflicts in a fair and legal manner.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting engagement, motivation, and well-being initiatives.
  • Support employees with HR-related queries and ensure transparent communication across all levels of the organization.

3. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Ensure that all new hires undergo proper screening and vetting in accordance with BS 7858 and other industry standards.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and succession planning.

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Oversee and manage the LSS performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
  • Assess training needs and implement structured training programs.
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee growth, learning, and career progression.

5. Compliance & HR Metrics

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout all aspects of human resource management, including right-to-work checks, health & safety policies, and GDPR regulations.
  • Track, analyse, and report HR metrics to management to support decision-making and business planning.
  • Manage HR systems and databases to maintain accurate employee records.

6. Organizational Development & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Conduct high-level management exercises to assess the effectiveness of policies and processes, ensuring business continuity.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to align with industry standards.

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Executive, HR Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance standards in the UK.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
